:antiverified: Error response from daemon: open \\.\pipe\docker_engine_windows: The system cannot find the file specified

Had installed Docker Desktop using default WSL2 rather than Hyper-V containers. Even though I had gone into settings of Docker Desktop and removed WSL2 checkbox and restarted everything, still error. 🤔
Finally uninstalled Docker and reinstalled with Hyper-V settings and all is good now. 🤷‍♀️

I just saw in #TheWeeklyDrop that there's a new version of #Lando. Been a while since I used it so I visited the #GitHub page. It looks to me like it still only supports #DockerDesktop. That's a non-starter and why we stopped using #Docksal. If it can't run with #Lima (e.g. #Colima or #RancherDesktop) or another non-proprietary #Docker engine it's a hard "NO." My personal preference has long been #Ddev but I try to keep an open mind

The harder the #problem the bigger the #satisfaction!

I managed to confuse #DockerDesktop so very badly it did not start (but kept rebooting) in #MacOS #Ventura. Even the "reset to factory settings" failed. I'm not sure if I''ve ever seen an application so confused.

The uninstall script which used to be present to clean leftovers (I hope) seems to be gone now. Vert sad.
