I've decided this is the first job on the new easel, updating an old painting. I did this when I was about 21, which was *cough-ty cough* years ago, and I've always liked it but I feel I could make it look better now that I've had a little practice.
If you're wondering how I made the boot look so three-dimensional, it's simple: you just need a Doc Marten boot, a robust craft knife, a small saw, and a blatant disregard for your own safety.
