About 5 years ago, I was playing with converting 3D shapes into “#woven” patterns. The coloured part of “Woven Dreams” was done using this method (https://mathstodon.xyz/@HypercubicPeg/109411039784102697).

The idea is to use this property (beautiful figure by Rafael Araujo) of the #dodecahedron.
If the edge of the cube is Phi (1+sqrt5)/2, then the thickness of the plank should then be 1/2.
