Trying to find a place to rent near my new job is extremely frustrating. Because of high demand, letting agents require more information upfront, which is fine, until it isn't. One agent wants a full application form completed as well as 6 months full bank statements, which they will keep for at least 6 years, JUST TO GET A VIEWING.
