One very bored dog waiting for his 15th chemotherapy session - I guess you can call him a chemo veteran. He tolerates it really well thank goodness. Our week off chemo with our dog Ringo and what happens? He develops an abscess on his ear where he has had a tiny lump since he was a puppy (sebaceous cyst). Back to the vet (again). Bacterial infection probably caused by immune system suppression because of the splenectomy and chemo. Abscess sorted, treatment explained, check up on Sunday at next chemo treatment.
