Ted, Ralph (both two years old) & Bob (14) eat #Yarrah #Organic & #Vegan dog food (sometimes supplemented by my home cooked food - also organic & vegan) as have all the other dogs in my life, all of whom lived long and happy lives.

The #33mail #email forwarding provider review:

1) they can only be reached via Twitter & their Gmail address.

2) there is no physical address anywhere on the site, not even in the privacy policy or legal terms.

3) the ToS says: “You may not use 33Mail to break the law. We will cooperate fully with requests from law enforcement agencies as part of any legitimate investigation of a crime.” But they do not say what country of jurisdiction they are in!

4) the privacy policy says if you have a privacy complaint, “you may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.” Who’s that? Which country?

Yikes.

Things like jurisdiction and corp registered office is basic info to have in the fine print. I can only guess they are in Ireland because their sister site simply writes “Dublin, Ireland.” in the corner of the screen. Does #Ireland not require online services to disclose their corp ID info?

And isn’t Ireland under the #GDPR, which would require them to be reachable by mail?

On the upside, it’s useful that they at least notify users upon login if there have been problems with the forwarding, unlike #Spamgourmet which gives no notice or info.

Is there a #dogfood issue w.r.t point 1? IMO, they should provide two email addresses: one to reach them on their own mail server, and one on a 3rd party server in case there are issues.

In design, development, engineering, but typically #software #development, the concept of "eating your own dogfood" means using your own products on a daily basis.

If you were forced to eat the same food that you give your dog, you're quickly going to go out of your way to make sure it doesn't suck.

Likewise, nothing helps a designer or developer discover user pain points faster than having to use the product.

I just fed the dogs. Their food is quite expensive, it must be very good because when I open the backdoor after prepping their food they run to their bowls and start gobbling it down.

They used to get only dry food, and ... well ... that was fine, they were happy, and they liked the food. But then Ben came down with pancreatitis and stayed with the veterinarian for a few days. After that, he eats mostly prescription dog food, before this event I wasn't aware of such a thing. It's a bit more expensive of course. So, he now gets dry food and wet food from a small can, which is a big hit. But because Ben gets wet food, I had to start buy Charlie wet food as well - bigger cans though.

Now its routine and if for some reason I forget to put down their wet food, they just stop and look at me. They each get half can in the morning and half in the afternoon. So, I'm stuck. 😂

How #irresponsible a #father can be when he tries to buy his 3 or 4 year old son a dead cadaver bun with lots of hormones and antibiotics at the bakery. 🙄 May it be a #meatball (#Frikadellen) bun or one with #livercheese (#Leberkäse). The meat in it is just as rotten as kebab meat and very similar to #dogfood (K2 meat).

But yes, teach your kids that there are only 2 flavors. Salt and sugar. You'll definitely do them some good with that.
