Does anyone know why it seems Miniature Pinchers are just so ravenous all the time or is this just my peculiar dog? 🐕

Bums me out that he’s starting to get a cataract in his right eye and having trouble seeing. He’s also needing help to get up on things he used to easily jump up on. Slowing down and extra careful on the stairs too, just like his human.

Our pets don’t last long enough. 😕

Rocky, my 13 year old male Miniature Pincher, out in his run that includes most of the backyard and part of the side yard. What makes it nice with my mobility issues, is that I can hook him up to his run from the house and let him go out to do his business and I don’t have to go up and down the stairs, which is difficult for me with my peripheral neuropathy balance issues.

The 2nd picture is a overheated late 1960s Camaro 327 Rally Sport convertible that overheated across the street and I took several photographs (as others did) whereas the owners were nowhere to be found. Never saw who picked up the car either. Nice ride and in near mint condition except for the overheating engine.

Reminds me of my 1st car, a 1968 Pontiac, Firebird H.O. sprint 350 Hurst four-speed, convertible in “Solar Red” I bought for $1100 in 1973. Had it up to 167 mph (timed with mile markers) in my wild youth on Interstate I-35 up here in my first year at UMD.

Those two swivel rocking chairs are so sun-faded & used to be bright orange about 24 years ago when I got them as “hand me downs” from my parents when they re-decorated their Lake house. Rocky has also worn a hole in one of the armrests as one of his favorite front paws perching spots. All three of my “fur beasties”, which I also call “kittydogs” to make it easy and by now is tradition, really enjoy those swivel rockers sunbathing and absorbing the suns warmth.

I enjoy sitting out there watching people walk by as well, but I can’t do that much now because the contractor that painted the outside windows last fall has yet to finish the job as the windows are all painted shut now and I can’t open them which makes it pretty hot over 100°F sometimes. 🪟🙁
