#dog #dogquestion my mom is in her 80's, lives independently in a condo with a porch, has lots of friends in the building and gets irregular, massive bouts of depression with a little bit of psychosis thrown in. She's decided that she wants a small dog for companionship and I support that with some caveats. I'd really like her to get a breed that might be inclined to alert on her mood changes. Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing?
