#DogShelter just called to tell me that I could have a first meeting with the #Dog I chose from the photos on their website. I'm both happy and a bit frightened to meet him in person. I just hope we get along right away and he becomes my new buddy.🤞

She's quite restless. Understandably..
I thought she had 7 or 8 pups.

She's got 9.
NINE!!!

2 boys and 7 girls.
About 2 weeks old.
I've decided their birthdate is January 8.

Now we've got 17 dogs.

For days Doris and her friend were talking about visiting the dog shelter nearby. Because of the rain we kept postponing it, but this morning it had to happen, rain or no rain!

When we visited the shelter there was a lady and she asked if we wanted to walk some dogs...what a lovely surprise! In the rain we did a little walk, both girls with one dog, they absolutely loved it!

Just came back from my shift at the #dogshelter.

I never feel like going, but when I'm there, I always have a great time. The dogs are so lovely and loving.

When I first started working there about 9 yrs ago, there were about 150 dogs. All collected by an elderly lady who has since moved. The foundation, Pegadas e Bigodes, set up by a friend of mine, bought the place and made lots of improvements.
