Let's be honest. Does global nuclear security exist? Apparently, unfortunately, it is as much a fiction as international law in general. Russia is demonstratively nullifying the key pillars of the modern world order, breaking both law and nuclear deterrence treaties. Moreover, from time to time, an "official representative of Russia" comes out in public and, grimacing at the camera, directly threatens: "we have a nuclear bomb and we can use it against a non-nuclear country."

At the same time, other Russian representatives openly mine the seized nuclear facility, the ZNPP, cynically threatening to blow it up. The response is deafening silence. Let me return to the original question: why do we believe that the world has global nuclear security? Isn't everything based on goodwill and our outright illusions?
