On July 11, 2022, #SenateRepublicans blocked a bill that would have authorized federal agencies to monitor #domesticterrorism within the U.S., including incidents involving white supremacy.

Called the #DomesticTerrorismPreventionAct, the bill fell short of the 60 senators needed to move it forward in #Congress, as the vote was 47-47 and divided along party lines.
