The Senate Commerce and Labor committee advanced a bill pushed by Dominion Energy that makes changes allowing Dominion to further pad their profit margin, raising rates on consumers. Senate bill 1265, sponsored by Dick Saslaw. Intense pushback understandably from environmental and consumer protection groups.
