That is simply not true money talks in civil lawsuits and Fox is going through 787.6 million things and this is just the beginning not the end. If justice were denied Fox would've won the trial or the appeal which would take years and nobody wants that especially with the current supreme court they could weaken the standard NYT vs Sullivan set after that case went to the supreme court since our current supreme court has overturned Roe they could easily destroy our democracy within hours with a ruling on Moore vs Harper. #fightfordemocracy #dominionvsfox

We often talk about how money talks and that's true and guess what money talked today and gave us accountability even though it wasn't in the way many have expected. The point of the lawsuit wasn't to force Fox to stop lying the point was to compell them to pay for the damage they have done to Dominion. Fox News just paid an $80 million company (Dominion) $787.5 million, as a part of the settlement deal. But:

- No retractions.
- No apologies.
- Nobody got fired.
- Nobody goes to jail.
- Rupert Murdoch got off easy.
- That’s less than 10% of the media mogul's net worth.

However: Fox is still facing a similar defamation suit ($2.7bn) from another plaintiff involved in voting technology, Smartmatic.

We've reached a point where I need a stronger word than "f-ck."

Part of the settlement really should have included #FauxNews being forced to repeatedly tell their viewers (during prime time and throughout the day, for days & weeks at a time) that they lied, & that the #2020Election was not rigged.

Allowing #FoxLiars to pay to lie doesn't teach them anything. They need pure humiliation, and their viewers need to hear the truth.
