TIL Donkey Kong Country 3 has a #Christmas cheat code!

On the load game screen, select your save file, hit LRRLRRLRLR, and then type in the code "MERRY."

All it does is make all the bonus games Christmas themed with little gifts and bells and festive music, but still fun.

#ElVideojuegoDelDomingo Hoy mi recomendación es un clásico: el par de juegos #DonkeyKongCountry3 (NES, 1996) y #DonkeyKongLand3 (Game Boy, 1997).

Estamos ante uno de los mejores #juegos de plataformas de la historia. No es ninguna exageración. Aunque para muchos no supera al anterior de su saga: Donkey Kong Country 2, para mí está al mismo nivel (quizás es algo más asequible en dificultad; el 2 en ocasiones resultaba frustrante). En mi caso jugué primero al Land 3, siendo uno de los juegos favoritos de mi infancia, y recientemente a los Country.

La saga Country original (especialmente el 2 y el 3) tiene un nosequé que no ha conseguido reproducirse en los remakes posteriores (#Wii, Wii U y #Switch).

Los juegos incluyen, además, un montón de referencias frikis a otros juegos e incluso a películas (dejo un ejemplo en las imágenes adjuntas).

(Temo que no será el último clásico que recomiende, uno ya tiene cierta edad y la nostalgia me puede).

Just note that I kinda change my mind at the drop of a hat when it comes to my favorite games in some cases but PM64 will always be at the very top; it's still my favorite game of all time. And these are all still either like a top 30 or have affected my life in a way.
