Just watched the movie “Don’t Worry Darling” and the build up was slow as expected but atmospherically it was wonderful cinema. The pay off and reveal near the end of act 2 sped thing up.

Theories on what the heck was happening? Like was there an uprising by the wives? Why did the street lamps start to explode? Like when she woke up was she stuck in bed like in Gerald’s Game?

I watched #DontWorryDarling last night. There's a scene that resembled a real life incident in my own life and I am still ticked off about it this morning.
Apart form that, I enjoyed the aesthetics, the story, and the acting. 8/10

#DontWorryDarling is a gothic fiction about a woman questioning her reality as she is haunted by eerie yet beautiful images. A study on fragile male ego and its consequences on the lives of women. Florence Pugh is flawless. The music on point. The resolution the story so-so.
I understand the problems some critics & movie fans have with the story. Sadly I can't talk about it without spoilers.
Overall, I think Wilde's sophomore film as director is technically solid but the script needed more work.

Finally got around to streaming #DontWorryDarling. Maybe not a cinematic masterpiece, but good thriller-y fun with beautiful, brightly-colored retro style. Perfect for a lazy Saturday afternoon. Shame the cast/director aired so much drama off-screen.
