Another #DonutDodo #RetroGaming update:

I still haven't beaten Dodo's Lair, but I discovered that taking my time and getting each donut in order let's me reach Dodo's Lair with a bunch of extra lives.

Now I'm working on collecting the donuts in order at high speed, to increase my time bonus score and reach Dodo's Lair faster for retries.

I'm beginning to see what all the fuss was about this game.

I finally reached the last level of #DonutDodo.

I've caught references to classic #arcade #retrogames - Burger Time, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Pac-Man, and Mappy.

I feel like I'm taking a lot of other references for granted.

Tonight's open #arcade #retrogames included

Gunstar Heroes, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, BoxBoy and BoxGirl, Super-Pacman, Frogger, Joust, and Donkey Kong Jr

Kids had the #NintendoSwitch arcade dock in 100% use, so my planned game of #DonutDodo will have to wait.

The most interesting lesson of tonight is that Donkey Kong Jr appeals to even our youngest players. I'll have to add it to the rotation more often.
