I wonder if anyone has posted with a #doocracy tag. It's a fairly neat concept. Basically if you have a good idea go fer it or convince someone else to. If you can convince enough people it gets done, if not, oh well.

I learn from @evan the term Doocracy in this post and it just makes *so much* sense...

@jonatk @liw I can recommend you search the term #doocracy as well, similar concept with complementary memes.

@b3yond Have you looked into #sortition? It's basically using lottery to elect a representative body. This seems to have a much better chance of being an actual representation of a larger body of people, however they will become less representative as time goes on.

Regarding relatively small groups (activist/FLOSS) most of the time #doocracy seems to work well if coupled with decent #conflictResolution. #sociocracy has some nice ideas too.
