π Welcome to the #Trembita, also known as the βpeopleβs missileβ. The prototype is #Ukraineβs 21st-century answer to the #V-1 flying bomb, or #doodlebug, the long-range missile used by Nazi Germany during the second world war against targets in south-east England.
The Ukrainian version has a range of 140km (87 miles). It can carry 25kgs of explosives, and it runs on diesel or petrol that you can buy in the local garage.

#CoolTrainTuesday Rio Grande Southern Galloping Goose No 7. The Galloping Geese were a last-ditch effort by the RGS to keep alive their narrow gauge line along the Western Slope of Colorado. Number 7 was the last built, in 1936, with a Piece-Arrow bus body and Ford V-8 (replaced with GMC truck engine). Extensively restored at the Colorado Railroad Museum in the 1980s, photographed there in May 2021. #train #narrowgauge #doodlebug #goose

You can't hear it at the end bc of edits but the interviewer was pretty choked up after my final answer & needed a minute to compose himself before speaking again. So I think it went well?
