Oh my god, so dreadful. Building a fire with masked loved ones to talk about our hopes and dreams and fears is soooo not cool. I should totally be at a King Princess concert hyping up all that queer assimilationist energy and passing COVID to someone higher risk than me. I should totally be at the cool 40 person+ unmasked radical house party where they’re talking about liberation and communal care. Sigh

Side note- this was a little overboard and nobody needs a fire this big unless it’s for another precinct. Ha! Practice good fire safety always :-)

Wow, so boring and meaningless. I should obviously be at a concert normalizing the spread of COVID and the abandonment of high risk people. Obviously the bars, house parties and concerts are the pinnacle of human connection and the meaning of life. Not watching the sunset every night at a nearby lake with a loved one (or alone, because solitude is also beautiful). Silly me!!!

(This is satire and yes this is from warmer months. If you’re in the cities and want a COVID safe buddy for walks around the lakes, @ me!!!❤️❤️❤️)

And, yeah, feeling a little #melancholy this late morning, with a dash of regret. Not a horrible thing, really, or unfamiliar, just something to sit with & through. And I'm still glad to be here, good day to be #sober, having a rich cup of #coffee (#CafeBustelo ftw), hanging out with my nephew, #cooking fantastic #greenchile #whitebean chicken soup, doing some #cleaning, watching a bit of #snowfall, etc. I'm not #DoomAndGloom, but I will gladly make time for a good #MurderBallad or something :-P
