"Doomsday Clock" 2 book set, I found these at the flea market the other day for $10.00 which I thought was a pretty good deal. Because these look like they are brand new, or at very least not read much.

This isn't a story I would have normally thought about, but the price and condition were enough to say "buy me".

The Doomsday Clock (monitored by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists) is closer to midnight than ever before, reflecting mounting nuclear tensions amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Lots and lots of studies describing factors influencing #climatechange ... great now what we need is more serious papers talking of scaled solutions in order to implement policies at gvt level, regions, municipalities and citizens . Politics are unable to grasp the needed change but they can implement solutions if they are convinced it is the thing to do . Else we will keep hearing that they are preparing us for a +4°c . #DoomsdayClock is ticking louder than ever that is the sad reality.
