Added a brief overview page on my site of my short list of #fediverse activities. https://www.zylstra.org/blog/me-and-the-fediverse/ I'm highly interested in exploring #activitypub to disclose travel plans non-public to accepted followers, directly from my site, like #Dopplr used to do as service. AP seems better suited wrt granular control over access than what my WordPress site or #OPML / #RSS would allow.

The #ActivityPub specification contains check-in and travel related activity types. Nice. You could build #4sq and #dopplr functionality on it. Are you aware of any existing implementations?
