Yesterday, I was lucky enough to do a course in letterpress printing at Double Elephant studio, as part of the 12 Stories for 12 Days of COP27 project.

These Images are still work in progress; I plan to combine them with silkscreen prints of a Dodo’s skeleton, showing all we have left of these birds.

The Dodo is perhaps the most famous of creatures driven extinct by humans, and seems to me a fiting icon of our impact on our environment.

I hope to do more of these prints in the future, juxtoposing species we have destroyed with ones that are endangered by climate change, and we still have a chance to save.

12 Stories for 12 Days of COP27 is funded by Exeter university and The Arts Council.
