@ellane @simonmic I too learned the principles of #DoubleEntry while learning the plaintext tools. Doubt I would’ve learned as much from the average small business #accounting app. Least viable of all paths to knowledge was trying to learn from actual accountants!

That #DoubleEntry swagger when you’ve conquered #PlainTextAccounting in general and done a year of #Beancount in particular.
