An example of duotone in cyanotype.
It's a bit of a cheat, as it's a double exposure.
First, I exposed eucalyptus leaves for maybe a week. This length of exposure gives the golden green colour.
No light got through the leaves, so under there was still unexposed.
Then I overlaid the whole image with vintage acetate star maps, to get a 'night sky' within the leaves.
A normal exposure kept it blue.

Bei uns gibt’s eine Menge Bäume mit Nummern drauf, das sind Gemeinde-Bäume. Meistens sind es Äpfel, in vielen alten Sorten, aber es gibt auch Birnen und Walnüsse. Man kann so einen Baum pachten für 1,50 Euro pro Jahr. Eine schöne Sache.
We have a lot of trees with numbers, these are community trees. Mostly apples, in many old breeds, but there are also pears and walnuts. You can lease such a tree for 1.50 euros per year. A good thing.

I had an accidental double-exposure effect out-of-camera: I left the shutter speed at 20" from my previous ISO noise test shooting my boots and them moved my camera aside and left for a bit.
