Quick drive down to Carson Valley and spotted a few hawks on fence posts. After posting these on Bluesky, was informed they are both Red-tailed Hawks.

On my #FirstDayHike, I did something a little different. I took a picture looking toward Mound Cemetery from Bunker Hill and Bunker Hill from Mound Cemetery.

Meanwhile, #ShawneeCounty, which has 60,000 more people, continues to gerrymander #Topeka out of any say when they could just as easily add two more seats.
