It's a beautifully tragic, street-level tale about regret and broken dreams. I don't know why, but of all of Moon Knight's stories, this two-parter tale really resonates with me. And the cover #art for #32 by Nowlan is one of my favorites for Moon Knight.

Just finished my first read-through of #DougMoench's #TheSpectre #comicbook series. I can definitely see why it isn't talked about very much. I felt it had a strong start with a new status quo for #JimCorrigan and the Spectre but by the time it gets to Cryptica Crimes Limited, I started to check out. Moench just doubled down on the high strangeness and I wasn't vibing with it. And the series ends on a pretty grim note, too.

6/10 as far as Spectre runs go. Onto #JohnOstrander...yay!

Not sure I'm feeling it, to be honest.

Still making my way through the #DougMoench run of #TheSpectre. I can sort of understand why it's not talked about as much as the #JohnOstrander run, but I still enjoy it.

I like the rapport Moench built up between the Spectre and #MadameXanadu. I'm not a huge fan of the change of #JimCorrigan's personality from previous and subsequent appearances, but I like the story structure of him running a private investigation business.

Overall, not too bad an entry.

Two issues into #DougMoench's #TheSpectre #comicbook series and I'm already loving it! Love the status quo change for the character post- #CrisisonInfiniteEarths. Leading up to this series, I could tell from the various series the Spectre appeared in that he had become so impossibly powerful that writers/editors had a difficult time knowing what to do with him.

I've finally reached the #DougMoench era of #TheSpectre (which I'm excited to begin and experience). I'm pretty confident that I've found a clearish delineation between pre-Crisis and post-Crisis canon for the chronology and used two issues of #dccomcis #SecretOrigins as the jumping-on point for post-Crisis continuity. It will require a little fiddling of working in some #AllStarSquadron continuity to fill in the gaps, but I feel it's workable.

An obscure book, while we're still in the Ls of the Great #ComicBook Re-inventorying Initiative. But I thought this series was pretty cool growing up.

#SwordsAndSorcery between two worlds, with #DougMoench (writer) and #PatBroderick (artist). The whole series looks great. Very 80s. Pat's skills are just phenomenal.
