Friday November 18 was the anniversary of #Texas #RocknAndRoll #Blues #HonkyTonk legend #DougSahm death in 1999 Before the age of 10 Doug started playing fiddle with his uncles in a #TexasSwing band getting pulled out of school to do get to the dance halls for soundchecks. In his teens he was a cool rockin' dude bopping around #SanAntonio long hair hating Texas cops set him onto #SanFrancisco Then onto #Austin to kick off the #CosmicCountry scene #Conjunto #Tejano #TexMex
