New #introduction cuz I just switched to a new instance!

Hello! I am kichirou. I am a #linux enthusiast, having been using it since 2015.

I play a lot of rhythm games, mostly #osu, and am currently playing #HonkaiStarRail since launch.

I listen to a lot of music, notably #EDM music and #Jpop, mostly preferring #DoujinMusic.

I am still getting used to posting on social media. I hope being in a community like mindly.social helps me stir up the courage to socialize more. Nice to meet you all!

I've been listening to more #Supercell songs lately and have found that I am more likely to enjoy their slower songs than their faster songs.

Fast songs that I like: My Dearest, Bios, 告白 (Kokuhaku) (all of these are #GuiltyCrown songs)

Slow songs that I like: Euterpe (Guilty Crown insert song), Planetes (Guilty Crown Lost Christmas ED), 銀色飛行船 (Giniro Hikousen) (#NerawaretaGakuen OP), 僕らのあしあと (Bokura no Ashiato) (#BlackRockShooter ED), 約束をしよう (Yakusoku wo Shiyou)

Speaking of #JohnZeroness...his song "Meteor" has harmonic rhythm and bass line motion that relate to why the song is so pretty.

The verse's first half has relatively stagnant harmony, with 1 chord per 4 bars (assuming each three-beat unit is a bar).
The second half has more harmonic motion, about 1 chord per bar, but the bass mainly descends.
The refrain is also 1 chord/bar but the bass mainly ascends, giving a sense of momentum.

Diese Zeile hat mich sehr getroffen. Finde es schön, dass dieser Aspekt dort aufgegriffen wurde.

Es macht mich traurig, wenn schöne Inhalte aus dem Internet verschwinden, besonders eben Musik und dazugehörige Videos.
Der Anteil an Musik(-videos), die ich in den letzten Jahren für mich archiviert habe und die bereits nicht mehr aufrufbar sind, ist erstaunlich hoch. Es sind meistens nicht-kommerzielle Inhalte.
