- dass man mehr #gehalt sowie andere „tolle“ #benefits ablehnen würde und stattdessen lieber einfach mehr #Zeit zum #durchatmen hätte
- dass man die anfänglich so flexibel klingende #Vertrauensarbeitszeit als #Überstundenfalle interpretiert,
- dass man über #Teilzeitmodell oder #downsizing nachdenkt, aber schon weiß, dass es nicht so einfach möglich sein wird,
dann weiß man, wie es mir grad geht - und es fühlt sich echt nicht gut an 😥

One of the most painful parts of the massive downsizing I'm I'm the middle of is letting books go. I just don't have room for everything I'd like to keep. The silly thing is I don't read print books anymore. My eyes can't handle it; I need the larger fonts I can get e-reading. But I feel seriously insecure rehoming them in the numbers I'm boxing up.

Honestly good riddence to Falsebook Corp.

Our admin labels the likes of MShaft, (sc)amazon and (screw)gle #dotcons because BigTech is a term that gives them power. We had to think about it a bit, but now we agree, 'dotCon' is the more appropriate term.

Its even more relevant now with all the #downsizing. :)

We've been aggressively #downsizing for, oh *tabulation sounds* about 10 months. All that is left either needs to go to the dump or it's meant to help stage the house.

Yesterday, I learned of a woman who is #2 on a county list for housing. She has a 1yo. I'm happy to say she wants the furniture we have left.

A major #PayItForward moment for us as we've both lost all of our stuff due before ourselves (me: robbery, him: It's a long story* that involves a shitty "friend.")
