I rather like the #truss #sunak #fatController #soapOpera - the three meerkateers fighting for the "soul" of the #toriesOut party (as though such a heartless organisation could ever have a soul..... )

The #windsor soap (soup?) is as stale & musty as #downton - and about as relevent.

Am watching #Downton Abbey from the beginning, and the politics of it are amazing. Every single returning aristocratic character has a heart of goldk or their sins are seen as peccadilloes and immediaely forgotten. Only the servants are allowed to be evil. I escaped from the UK in 2000 but Noblesse Oblige still has a stranglehold on the British imagination. The only dissenting voice -- the Fenian chauffeur -- is immediately co-opted and neutered by the family.

Très belle exposition à Tour&Taxis sur Toutankhamon...
On y revit la découverte de son tombeau il y a 100 ans tel qu'il avait été laissé 3000 ans auparavant ...
Cela laisse rêveur !

Anecdote amusante : Le lord Carnarvon qui finançait les recherches habitait le château qui a été utilisé dans la série Downton Abbey !
