"...What do you mean, your webs got 'stuck on'? Isn't sticking what they do?"
"Yeah, Mike, but that's not what I mean! I mean I can't stop spooling it out, the Wizard hit me with some kind of amplifier dart and now I just can't stop projecting more and more web, and it's getting harder to control - look, I just need you to get me some sedative or something, all right? Knock me out and I SHOULD be able to stop before I cocoon the Chrysler building..."
A slime eats the dead body of a knight, and uses their bones for structure to stand up and move more effectively, only to find out that the armor on the body is haunted by the ghost of the knight
The slime is curious about solid life (especially ways to get food without killing it, and ways to live without adventurers trying to kill you), and the ghost takes it on herself to train this strange slime to pose as her and uphold the duties of a knight errant #drabble #plotting
"Space Weed"
My first drabble.
It was a nice morning, up until the bank exploded. Cars swerved to stop with more than a few fender benders as they were showered with debris. A cackling, skinny shape in rags, tatters, and an astonishing number of pouches and satchels skipped from the wreckage, tossing smoke bombs and flashbangs every which way, pursued by a desperately dodging shape in form-fitting purple and black.
Just another morning in Manhattan. #psyder #drabble #unedited

My and a co-author's 'experimental' #drabble, "Alone Together Under The Stars," incorporating a music score, hexadecimal number sequences, and other oddities, was bought by Martian Magazine. Look for it later this year!

Threw together a really messy #drabble last night for a theme. Clocked in about 150 words--which is way more than typical for me on a first draft. But I just wanted to get the idea down, fast.
It's at 106 words now, so closing in.
