Just finished my class at #drachenwald kingdom university on Deep Diving into sources - in this case the Register of Freemen of York. It went pretty well.

I'm behind on my menu planning/food toots since we were away a week or so ago at a #medieval event. (For those in the #sca, it was #drachenwald crown tourney. I came fourth;-)

Each week we get a veg box from Riverford Organic Farms - highly recommended if you are in the UK and in their service catchment. Then we sit down and plan our meals around what was in the box. A few weeks ago it was:
carrots, sweet potato, savoy cabbage, lettuce, red pepper, courgettes, and mushrooms.

Sir Avery fighting for Zoe, defeated Lord Ranulf fighting for Lady Euphrosyne 3 bouts to 1 in a best of five final at Insulae Draconis coronet tourney yesterday.

@aodh Do you think it's worth pimping the #drachenwald slack on the kingdom webpage and/or mentioning on the Kingdom email list? It appears to be somewhat under known.

This is the sentence, really: "It is one of the society’s 20 kingdoms in North America, each of which is subdivided into provinces, baronies and shires."

Twenty kingdoms *worldwide*, and #Drachenwald and #Lochac aren't in North America. (And if we want to be picky, the West still includes Asia.) The NYT should be able to do that much basic fact checking.
