I finally finished #DragonAgeInquisition. It is a real shame, because this game could have been so much better. When it does things right, it's BioWare at its best. The twists and turns of the main plot are amazing. But when it fails, it's massively disappointing. The mind-numbing endless fetch quests on the side, and the incredibly boring open-world exploration are a total disservice to the game, and they dilute the experience so much.

On my story-driven RPGs side on gaming, I keep progressing through #DragonAgeInquisition and #ChainedEchoes.

The more I play Inquisition, the more I'm convinced going semi-open world did no good to the game. While in previous games I would spend 70% of the time progressing through main or side stories, in this one most of the time I'm just going around empty scenarios asking myself "how the f*** do I get to that stupid collectable?"

I find it quite amusing that in #DragonAgeInquisition they’re quite comfortable showing Dorian’s whole ass, but they cut away to ‘behind the inquisitor’ shots for all of the kisses.

C’mon man!

Same thing for #DragonAgeInquisition.

My roommate is playing #BaldursGate3 and his PC is basically just him as an elf. Which means bald.

I don’t think he realizes his PC is basically #Solas from #DragonAgeInquisition and it was all I could do to not laugh when I first saw his character.

I didn’t know whether to pick Gaspard, Celine or Bianca in #DragonAgeInquisition so I paused the game and turned it off until I can decide. 😂 #gaming

Meanwhile, yesterday I finally progressed in the main quest of #DragonAgeInquisition, and it all just got extremely interesting!! Also including some genuinely fun moments courtesy of Varric and Cassandra.

My wife warned me about a mission In about to play in #DragonAgeInquisition because she knows me well and knows how laid back in RPG missions I usually am 😂😂😂

Like when I played #MassEffect2. I had to go rescue my crew and they were about to get killed and I said "Well, yes, BUT! Look at all these other sidequests that I'll be shut out of if I don't complete them NOW!". Long story short, three quarters of the crew died 😅

Current status of the games I'm playing:

#DemonsSouls: Multiple fronts open, getting savagely killed in all of them.
#OcarinaOfTime: Just started it, trying to get into Hyrule castle.
#DragonAgeInquisition: Trying to engage with the plot, open world doesn't help because of the tons of random markers in the map.
#ForgedInShadowTorch: Loving the setting and graphics, enjoying a very decent metroidvania.

Another boss down in #Bloodborne! And after doing that I went back to the Cathedral Yard, and found a new kind of enemy which took me to a different (and apparently optional) level 😁

Now time to play some #DragonAgeInquisition to go back to something not too taxing on my nerves!

Bei einigen Entscheidungen kannst du nur zwischen mies und scheiße wählen und man ist schlichtweg nicht zufrieden mit den Folgen. Ich wünscht an der Quelle beispielsweise, keiner würde aus dieser trinken und man würde sie einfach vernichten, so wie es der Altelf auch geplant hatte.

Ich liebe den Teil, aber mir fehlt trotz allem die Vielschichtigkeit aus Origins, gerade bei den Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten.
