I'm back from #DragonCon It was - we think - our 10th time attending in 13 years. I brought 4 costumes total, and 2 of those were pretty casual. Biggest highlight for me was meeting Adam Savage both for a photo and then an autograph.

@ramsey I attended it & thought it was interesting. It felt like an overview & discussion of benefits & pitfalls with the opportunity for the audience to ask questions and voice opinions. I appreciated it for what it was and hope to see more in the future at #DragonCon. The hosts were joking about why we had decided to attended when the party was “out there" 😃

On the plus side, I did have some very genuinely kind responses to handing out swag which is always appreciated. There's always good, friendly people to help lift your spirits at #DragonCon!

Last night was not my best #DragonCon night for a variety of reasons, but it seemed off from the jump. Some drunk dude dropped a partially/mostly full Seagrams bottle that shattered right in front of me & sprayed myself and someone else's legs. He continued to hurry away with a half-hearted "sorry”. I stuck around with a couple of other people to find someone at the Marriott to take care of the broken glass and despite best efforts, people kept walking, running & jumping through the glass ☹️
