@morrus I think #dragonmeet's positioning on the first Saturday of December is pretty unbeatable for trading and I'm considering taking a table next year.

Unboxing the starter kit, I realised I'd heard about Critical Foundation by some of the people involved (it was months and months ago and they couldn't tell me the title so it's not just me OK?).
And yes, I'm still in bed 😁 Dragonmeet was a motherfucker.

Well, that was my first time in 22 years attending #dragonmeet without helping out with something. And I can see why people love attending! It was a lovely day of wandering, chatting and catching up. There was a good H.A.T.E. contingent too, including my entire D&D group.

Swap included these two beauties - Undying Sea, the random hex tiles for creating sand-sandbox adventures and the Gozr RPG, which very much reminds me of the cartoonist Vaughn Bodē

So I did have a lovely time at #dragonmeet but I think the most astonishing thing was that I remember reading about Dungeons and Dragons in Games and Puzzles in 1975 (I must have read that article a hundred times, there was not a lot to do in the past) and if you could have shown ten-year-old me the Dragonmeet trade halls I think I would have *exploded* with delight.

The Dragonmeet haul was pretty reasonable. Displayed on a bed spread as is traditional and missing some stickers, a giant glow in the dark d20, and my copy of the Medieval Marginalia that I forgot to collect from Paul and Fil :( #dragonmeet

#ttrpg things I ended up with from #Dragonmeet - two Squarehex campaign notebooks (one alternating grid/hex pages, one grid/lined), Orbital Blues (inc free pamphlet adventure and two postcards), copies of Liminal and Flotsam, and a free card game called LUGU which came with Liminal. Dirty carpet = my own.

So. I took some games to the #dragonmeet bring and buy and sold them. #decluttering. On the other hand I have bought so many games in the #dragonmeet bring and buy I’m not sure how I’m getting home.
