Broke out #DragonQuestXI again last night. It's nice that the game is very good about helping you back in, but after an hour I was bored with it again. I'm supposed to get ore to make a sword I don't care about for a problem I'm not invested in solving. Loved the first 30 hours or so of this game, but it's too long for its own good. The combat isn't interesting enough for a game this long.

okay now that I've slept on it and actually gone over the prize list, most of the stuff on the list, or at least several large ticket items, aren't actually things that are useful for me so I don't have to buy them.

one is a weapon for a character I don't have yet, so I can come back later for it, and I can afford everything else with what I have now.

however when I went to cash out I noticed I missed there was a second page of more expensive prizes, and you actually need just under 300,000 tokens to get them all.

I am not sitting at a slot machine pushing a button until I have 300,000 tokens, so I went to the slime slot machine which has an auto spin feature and ridiculous complex rules that I don't understand and just keep pushing the autospin button

Liebe #dragonquestxi aktuell hart. Kann es kaum erwarten das es weiter geht. Überlege ernsthaft mit ne Switch OLED zuzulegen, da ich meistens im Handheldmodus spiele. Lohnt sich das?

Since I'm all over the place with my gaming, I decided to dip my toes into Dragon Quest XI. I've only played for about an hour, but I'm liking it so far. We'll see where it goes from here and hopefully this game sticks.

I also did end up playing a bit of Elden Ring too. My first playthrough was an Astrologer, ranged battle all the way. Now I'm doing melee and it's certainly harder, but somehow surprisingly fun too.

All done with Dragon Quest XI. Even went a bit beyond the platinum with some of the extra optional battles. I'm not much of a DQ fan, but I enjoyed the game well enough. If I had to sum it up in just a few words, I'd say it's the biggest budget low budget game I've played.

I preordered #DragonQuestXI for the #Playstation4 and played the hell out of that game before my disc drive stopped working and I wasn’t able to finish it. Buying the #DefinitiveEdition for #NintendoSwitch was one of the smartest purchases I’ve made! I love this game so much!
