Community of Dragons is back this eve! 🐲 It's a way to mobilise funds & community support for local, regenerative businesses on land, food, art, bikes, production and more that emerged from Transition Town Totnes and the REconomy Project.

It's a friendly dragon's den style pitching event where local entrepreneurs can share their brilliant projects and anyone in the community can offer support, connections, investment and practical help. Hope it's a great event this evening!

Finding myself getting increasingly angry with the investors on #DragonsDen. Unable to listen to an answer to a question more than 3 words long they interrupt, belittle, bully and browbeat; meanwhile they no longer invest in anything other than sure things. The time when small inventors would come along with pre-market ideas and have a dragon take a chance on a small investment have gone. This just isn't fun TV any more.

I wouldn't care so much about his horrific pitch, my issue would be how it can take 4 years of development to build a bog-standard p2p lending platform.
