I think my homemade cocktail onions taste pretty good. But these are literally the first 5 cocktail onions I can remember eating. Nor can I give a good evaluation on my Gibson: I've never had one, but I can taste the onions in it. I also can't remember if I've ever had Gordon's.

Very cold glass, tray of ice pounded to snow, couple teaspoons of sugar in the bottom, & similar amount water. Stir. + ~6 mint leaves; muddle lightly. Pack glass with the ice. Add bourbon or w/e to your liking. Add more ice. Add your float of more booze if you want. Poke holes with your big straw for it & several more mint sprigs. Insert sprigs & straw. K made scratch butterscotch putting the other day. She decided to flavor it with Zaya. We have part of a bottle of Zaya left from before they were bought out & the rum was degraded.
