Seeing women’s profound impact on #hiphop FINALLY recognized was great, but painful to see more of the many ways #women were abused/subjugated. I grew up in Greenwich Village in #NYC in the late 70s & 80s so hip-hop was was very much a love of my life #ErykahBadu. But I hated the constant misogyny. I’d like to see what repair comes from acknowledging that past. Ex. I know #DrDre apologized to #DeeBarnes but did he try to fix the career damage he caused?

Het duo ontmoet elkaar tijdens een spelletje paintball in 2006, beiden spelen al in bands, #CamillaGrey in Lo-fi band #Mellowdrone en speelt keyboards bij artiesten als #DrDre en #MelissaAufDerMaur, Leisha Hailey speelt tot dan bij #TheMurmurs en speelt in tv show #TheLWord.
Op 24 juli 2007 komt hun eerste EP uit, I See Red.
In 2016 stopt de band om te werken aan soloprojecten

As much as gang life and the specter of Death Row/ Suge Knight infuse the lyrics, Dre’s production was a leap forward from everything that came before. Real instruments vie with samples for more organic and soulful grooves, while co-star Snoop Dogg provides a laidback counterpoint to Dre’s harder vision. “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” proved rap no longer had to turn vanilla (ice) to crack the pop charts.
