FINALLY i finished this one!

If i remember correctly the background/overall theme was something i saw in a dream but when sketching it awake i thought it as somewhat empty and just put in my oc manon. :lies_down:

i think i'm gonna call it "nursery stroll" or something. not good with names :lies_down:

older drawing from two years ago. thought i should scan to preserve it and when doing it why not showing it to you too. :blobcatcoffee:

not sure if you are aware but i was born and still live in switzerland which has no access to the sea. but sometimes the wind at night sounds like waves at a beach so i tend to dream that i have a blanket of waves.

i used alcohol markers (touch), color pencils and a gel pen for the golden details.

Ch. 3:

i was in a minecraft-style voxel world w/many ppl. on the edge of the map was a sort of pirate HQ w/multiple levels of wooden walkways & platforms. but it was all cybered out w/all my hacker friends & lots of other cool hackers i hadn't met before. there was music & ppl making cool stuff on computers w/others hanging out & watching them. i was like "wow, what a scene! & so many new hackers to meet!" it was just enough people to not be overwhelming & the world itself was v cool

Ch. 2:

i was in a museum w/many floors. i started at the top & to get out, i had to either jump down a waterfall or walk down through multiple floors of the art exhibit. you had to navigate thru the museum's stolen artifacts that were on exhibit, & the artist's new works: large geodes with sharpened tips & other dangerous obstacles u had to navigate past v carefully. this dream artist was Black & the installation shared his experience of the art world. i felt it.

i live in the forest on an island in the middle of the pacific ocean, so i don't get to see much art in person. i think my brain is compensating by showing me new art in my dreams.

this will be my thread.

Ch. 1:

i was visiting my old hackerspace (sudo room, in oakland) & they had moved into a huge former-museum! the museum had art running along the walls & art embedded into the stone floors. the art in the floors could only be seen when shining a light on it.
