the first time Drexciya played in Italy my partner and I do the warm up. The grandeur of this Maestro in Italy was not yet understood, and we were among the few in Italy to play these things. The event was organized in Bologna at the millenium club. Epic night. 2003. After finishing our set it was an honor for us to receive your congratulations.

I just discovered that #Drexciya, a two-person #electro outfit based in #Detroit, developed an Afro-futurist myth of an advanced aquatic civilisation descended from slaves thrown from slave-ships. Kind of #Wakanda meets #Atlantis, only set in America. Amazing.
