It's amazing how often Liberal pols & staffers avoid #drinkdriving convictions
In particular, Timmy was proper shitfaced at 0.131% BAC, more than twice the 0.05% limit, had a property damage collision, crossed a footpath and an oncoming traffic lane. This event had a high potential for personal injury to himself and members of the public, but all he got was a fine and a 1 year driving suspension.
In Latvia, cars seized from people who are three times over the drink drive limit are being sent to Ukraine. The authorities have pledged to sent 24 cars a week to a charity who specialises in providing cars to Ukraine.

Transport and Main Roads will launch an impactful drink driving campaign this month, to put consequences front and centre.
The campaign features a range of consequences right on the can, with names such as 'lose your licence lager' or 'job loss bitter' to show the devastating outcomes of drinking and driving right there at the moment of consumption
Ultimately, we need people to realise that drinking and driving is absolutely never worth the risk.
