So one week in & already the number of #driverless taxis in #SanFranciso has been halved after a taxi collided with an emergency vehicle & the taxi passenger had to be taken to hospital.

The (temporary) reduction will last until an investigation determines how the crash happened & the City has had some reassurance about safety measures.

Optimists will say look at the early history of the railways... this is just a blip;

Pessimists will be leaning back to say 'told you so'.
