I see a lot of snark this year about how bad the #F1 season has been, but I disagree.

Yup, Max is running away with it. We knew that before a single lap was run. I can't stand Max (mostly due to Jos's influence) and Christian, but they owned this iteration and it looks like they did it without (too much) cheating.

But, I **love** that "Best of the Rest" this year literally means second place, not seventh like in years past. *No one* is clearly ahead of the pack.

I love the ebb and flow, watching as certain designs match certain tracks. Seeing McLaren come to life has been truly epic.

Now we have Danny Ric to watch again (though I was disappointed this week...)

There's so many storylines! As a fan from the US since ~2008, I really hope that the #DriveToSurvive crowd stays around and stays interested in the sport. More eyeballs make it better.

@tanyamr @krakalak agree, and the relatively new #netflix #F1 #DrivetoSurvive "fan" audience are not going to hang around to watch this level of procession.

As an American, I support #HaasFormula1, but before there was #DriveToSurvive there was Grand Prix Driver on Amazon which gave me a soft spot for McLaren.

I quite liked the first episode of #100DaysToIndy

I'm not very familiar with IndyCar or all of the drivers so I'm not sure how much "Drive to Survive"-esque misleading edits it pulled but I think it definitely benefits from focusing on a single race and all of the storylines there instead of bouncing around the season out of order based on the episode's lead character

Feels like it could build a more satisfying story that way

Not to mention, it's neat that it's about the current season and not last year's, the way Drive to Survive does

I just watched Ep 9 of #DriveToSurvive, the “#RedBullRacing Cheating Apologist” episode.

They can glibly blame it on too many sandwiches, but in the end, they cheated in 2021, gained an advantage going in to 2022, and want to blame the other teams that didn’t go over spending cap. #FIA penalties were a slap on the wrist.

And yes, a relatively dull race in some respects - you're joining the sport at the start of what will probably be a long period of domination by Red Bull (right after the same by Mercedes, it must be said), but there's generally plenty of interesting things going on in mid field!
