Yesterday I did something I've wanted to do since I heard of it's existence and drove Route 129 "The Dragon" in Western North Carolina. It's been dubbed the curviest road in the USA. 318 curves in 11 miles.
It's similar in curviness to the roads of Big Bear Basin in CA, but noticeably longer. Also cool that the people who have made it a destination have taken their earnings and added turnouts and curve embankments all along the length. Total win :-)
