Denuvo DRM/Anti-cheat is a RAT (Remote Access Trojan) 🕵️💻 and a cancer on the games industry.

Denuvo, who is staffed by very capable coders/hackers, can run ANY code on your computer that they want and inspect or copy any files they want. They have no over-site or regulation from any third parties for this spying.

Ausnahme sind PC Spiele, wo inzwischen ja sogar die physikalisch verkauften effektiv nur noch Steam keys sind.

Und am Ende landet man dann doch auf dubiosen Seiten für Medien, die es einfach nirgendwo mehr legitim und/oder ungeschnitten gibt. 😔

Naja, zumindest haben wir heutzutage digitale Quellen.

Bei Mangas leider außerhalb Amazon noch viel zu wenig. 😭

"In order to read book X which I purchased from your store, I had to manually strip the DRM from it. I tried that "digital sound" (MiniDisc), but the copy protection resulted in bad user experience, especially when you had NetMD players that could be connected to a PC via USB, but you were not able to copy music digitally from MiniDisc to the computer.

DRM sucked right from the beginning.
