i head it from some guy in the citytree commune. he said that growing avocados requires a lot of water. israeli farmers grow large avocados and sell them to europe. they get big euros for it there. what this guy said is that israel - a hot, dry country - basically exports in avocados its water, a valuable, important, resource.

The drying up of Europe's even Great Rivers (like the ) is something I and, I imagine, many more in Turtle Island hadn't expected

Any European ecologists are welcome to fill me in or correct me
Wondering if this is a consequence of possible a more built-up watershed or just general โฌ‡๏ธr flow
I wouldn't expect this to happen with the fleuve of so-called st Lawrence or the Amazon, even if their watersheds were facing the same drought Europe is, but I'm no hydrologist

Dovremmo ricordarlo a tutti quelli che continuano a dire che d'estate "ha sempre fatto caldo"

Central and Northern Europe is facing a new intense heat wave. This means more food for the voracious drought that is affecting almost the entire continent.
