Baby Patankar is a notorious drug dealer arrested by Mumbai police in 2015. She was accused of running a large-scale operation of selling Mephedrone (MD), a synthetic stimulant also known as "meow meow". She started her career as a milk vendor and later switched to selling marijuana and brown sugar. Her story is the subject of journalist Srinath Rao's new book, Meow Meow: The Incredible True Story of Baby Patankar.
