“US health officials say that eyedrops may have killed 1 person & severely injured several others due to drug-resistant bacterial” (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) “contamination.”

“10 different brands were initially identified as possibly linked to the outbreak, the CDC said. Eyedrops that are made in India & imported to the US under 2 brands were subsequently pulled from shelves in Jan. & Feb.
