A day late for #DrumkitMonday but here it is! Roland TD17-KVXS in my parent's basement. A great kit, but after an ungodly amount of playing during lockdown, it's falling apart 😅 Two cymbals have dead zones, one stopped working (see: the floor). Had to replace all the wires cus they broke due to the canadian cold.

Looking forward to a future where I can have a fancy acoustic kit like you guys! But first I need the space; tiny Montreal appartment doesn't quite cut it 🤔 (practice pad it is)

Today is #DrumkitMonday ... that means show off time people! And that time flies very fast too.

Alright, let’s see how this #DrumkitMonday works.
I envy all the setups you guys share here - not necessarily for the drums as I only need one drum to practice most of what I do, but because of the settings… I need a nicer room to practice in :)
So here’s my TAIKO-1 kit, the set which allows me to do my #taiko without hurting the ears of my 100+ neighbors :)

These are bubinga shells with Evans g2 coated beaters and g1 clear resos. I dampen the toms a bit because I like that big thuddy sound for the styles of music I like to play. Share your kits and tell us about them!

This is my DW pure maple kit that I got to replace my previous Tama Granstar kit of 30 years . The snare is also a pure maple. Took some weeks of tuning / heads to get a sound I could get behind.
